Welcome to Manuscripts Online, a searchable database of high-resolution images of American historical manuscripts in the collection of the Rosenbach Museum & Library. "MO" is named after Moses Polock, known as Uncle Mo, the maternal uncle of museum founders Philip and A.S.W. Rosenbach. It was Uncle Mo in whose book shop young Abie learned what would become his life's passion and it was Uncle Mo who told his nephew, "My boy ... Americana! That's the stuff to collect!"
